Is this game playable solitaire? Thanks. You can play 1-48 solo if you just evaluate what decision you would make to win with one side and then "switch sides" in your head. But it's certainly not as exciting as playing against a real person because you will never really surprise yourself, you always know what your opponent plan is... it's a good way to learn the game as it will force you to continuously come up with new solutions but it is kind of like saying chess is playable solo (without a computer AI), it's true, but one isn't really playing the game so much as simulating a real game. That said fear not, because we are working on a proper solo version for the game, or actually more than one to be precise! That is because while testing we have found some theater doesn't really make for a particularly enjoyable game for one side (one for all: D-DAY) and it's much more fun as a solo or cooperative game. The enemy actions are controlled by a deck of tactical cards which effectively act as an AI opponent... we have done quite a bit of work on it and it's looking good, but we still need to expand the AI deck with more options to make sure the game does not get repetitive...
