Here is another house rule I have Field Dressings, love to hear your thoughts and suggestions. both German and US field dressing tokens done with the RED CROSS o the opposite side.
FACTION FIELD DRESSING TOKEN (Red Cross on the opposite side)
1. All characters except medics, are issued with one faction field dressing token per game. Place a faction field dressing token beside each character's stat card.
2. Once a character receives a light wound and a wound shock token. The wounded character or character may chose to use the faction field dressing token to negate the wound shock token.
The wounded character or character rolls a 1D6, on a result of 4+ the light wound is automatically treated, remove the wound shock and field dressing tokens from play, now turn the wounded stat card over and the character is ready for active duty this turn.
3. A result of 1 to 3, the wound is too serious for the field dressing to deal with. Turn the token over to show the Red cross symbol and leave it next to the wounded character's base. Remove the wound shock token from play so that a medic, stretcher bearers or other characters can evacuate the wounded character at any time to the nearest field dressing station or off your table edge as soon as possible. Once there the wounded character returns to full health ready for active duty on the next available turn.
4. If the character is killed before the faction field dressing token is used, place the token beside the dead character, so that any character in base contact can pick up the faction field dressing token and use it on them or someone else in base contact.
