Hi,
On pg.21, second paragraph writes:
To set a character in Opportunity, Just place one OF Marker at any one point on the battlefield as long as there is CLEAR LOS to it.
On fifth paragraph also states:
The Of target marker can be placed beyond any number of terrain elements providing PARTIAL COVER, provided there is Los.
These two different references are getting confusing me.
So, Clear Los or even partially Los?

Hi Mark,
you are correct, I'm aware of that, the second paragraph on pag.21 will be edited in the next revision to read: "just place one OF Marker at any one point on the battlefield as long as there is a valid LOS to it."
fifth paragraph is correct, there must be LOS, but does not need to be a "clear" LOS, so long as there is nothing in the way hat breaks LOS it is ok!

Today, I spent time above the rulebook, noting the most important rule spots. Happened to met this....

Claudio,
I came across to the same fact on Suppression Fire.
On the third paragraph mentions about CLEAR LOS.
On the seventh paragraph, as well writes: The only limitation.....must all have LOS (plain).

yup, thank you, that is fixed as well in the latest version... incidentally, that would be 2.4 pretty much the same as the previous ones, but has a few small edits like these that helps clarify things... should update the pdf file on Wargame Vault too...

Claudio I suppose the same happens on Achtung Panzer rules, regarding the heavy weapons.
In particular, on page 14 on fifth paragraph writes "Anti tank guns..... they need a CLEAN Los to the target in order to attack it.
Should it have been written" VALID"? Because asap next, writes "that you can place the marker anywhere you like provided there is Los to it..."
Besides, if so, no use for the High penetration ability.

Hi Mark, correct!
Should be "valid", clean is wrong and misleading. There should be LOS, so no terrain that breaks LOS intervening, but does not need to be "clean" or "clear", will make sure to fix that in the new editions...
