Hi, I already have read the rules version 2,1, that are more specific and couldn’t distinguish any difference between the newer....? I also saw the SUPPORT tag on your site that refers Arcenes ‘44, some help to figure out what is this. I was thinking, that having given a name to any character, with different stats to any, it would be fine in the future to make campaigns with role playing features, like experience, abilities etc.
Finally, can’t wait to make my order......I’m waiting the mission pack....a release date?

Hi Mark! Version 2.1 was a release candidate, which means it was very close to the final published version (Version 2.2)... other than proofreading and re-wording something for clarity, the basic rules are the same, the main difference with 2.2 is the additional 50 pages of extra content... If you go to 1-48tactic.com/support.htm you will see that ARDENNES ‘44 is the first (and currently only) open Theater of Operations. It is often called also “The Battle of the Bulge”. If you read the details on the page it gives you the detail of which forces can be used together with what, it is not of much use at the moment as there are only 2 factions currently available but that is going to change very soon! (about a month, if all goes well...) Now, role playing features, yes, that is very possible, in fact we are working on that right now, the idea being of running online campaigns and then feed in the results from tournaments and club playing. As a reward there will be upgraded cards to level-up characters (mind you, that would make the character more expensive in AP terms, to keep the game balanced)... this is pretty much the sort of things the support page above is going to be about... Last, mission pack: it is actually available now, except we have decided as a last moment thought to add a free card to it, so that you can use the special figure included in the pack as an additional character in other games... it is just a little free extra but I think you'll like it! The extra card is now being sent to print so it should be available in approximately 2 weeks time...

I'm holding off placing an order until the Mission Pack is available.
Can you divulge anything about the Mission Pack? Number of new characters? Terrain items? Other extras? Price?
Thanks
Chuck

Something I wanted to ask from the beginning. In order to play with more than 4,6 maybe 8 figures, would be possible to repeat same figures from the starter set, or I must to wait you to expand the collection?

Hi Mark75, thank you for that question! You can of course use more than one of the same figure in friendly games, but this would not probably be possible in Tournaments... anyway currently there are 7 figures available per faction, so you won't need to wait much for the 8th!
