Are there any maps available that work with the print & play verson? If so, could they be posted. Thanks.

Hi Bick, I'm afraid not, I guess I could do some, but then how would you print a 60x60 cm (2" x 2") map in color? Separate sheets glued together?

Yes. The map I'm using is comprised of 6 sheets of cardstock, in portrait.

I was hoping for a map board like you might find in a Lock 'n Load, Sergeants, or Conflict of Heroes game. It would contain terrain.

I would have thought it would be better to have separate terrain pieces that could be rearranged in different combinations... you do prefer to have a map with fixed terrain?

Yes, a map with fixed terrain. Thank you VERY much for taking your time to do this. I made a map from the videos on gameplay. Doesn't look great, but it does allow play. I'd be glad to share if you're interested.

Yes, I'm looking for a map that contains fixed terrain. Thank you VERY much for taking the time to help. I made a map similar to the one that appears in the instructional video. Doesn't look very good, but does work. I'd be happy to share if you like.

Try this one, it is scaled for printing at 150 dpi to 60x60 cm. You will need to set up your printer accordingly... Free printable 60x60 cm terrain map for 1-48TACTICThe terrain pieces with a thick black border are all "Protecting" terrain. Anything else is just eye candy... let me know if it works for you! Cheers, Claudio PS: low res preview:

Thank you VERY much, Claudio. This will provide people with an opportunity to try your great game using the print 'n play files. I created soldier counters from their cards by cropping the bottoms. Can't wait to try them on your interesting map. Thanks very much again.

no worries! you can post it on the print and play facebook group if you like, or I'll do it when I have a second... I'll probably add it to the Wargame Vault download too...

Relative to you're putting the map on Wargame Vault - just so you know - I couldn't get the map to print on anything but 1 page. Therefore, I did some cutting and pasting into Excel, then printed it on 6 pages.

Relative to you're putting the map on Wargame Vault - just so you know - I couldn't get the map to print on anything but 1 page. Therefore, I did some cutting and pasting into Excel, then printed it on 6 pages. that depends on your printer... most printers these days have a "poster" print option that would let you print a large image across multiple pages... admittedly it is not optimal as it requires 12 pages to fit it all on, but again no much I can do about that as 60x60 is really the minimum recommended size for the game... but you could choose to scale it (or crop it) to 90% and that would fit on 6 pages... the actual size is not really important, but the spatial proportion and relations are, so for example you could easily scale the map down to 0.6666 to play with 1/72 plastic figures, but to do so the figures should be based on round 16.65 mm bases and 1 u would be 16.65 mm... easy enough to find a suitable sized coin as base (1 Euro cent are spot on) and mark a strip of paper to quickly measure movement (just scale the one in the rulebook to 0.6666)
