1-48TACTIC: ACHTUNG PANZER! is a rule expansion for 1-48TACTIC which contains detailed rules for vehicles and heavy weapons. Please note this is a Beta version, meaning that we are still testing these rules and there may still be minor changes before they are published. If you find any issue or strongly feel about some aspect of these rules please feel free to comment on them, your input can still be decisive and as always any and all feedback is very welcome! Wowzers! I like this a lot. Question. For this to work will we need more characters and activations? Otherwise all your squad is in a tank or out of a tank. What will happen there? Is there a limit to AT?

Definitely needs more characters, although we did some test with 1 to 1 tank duels and it is quite good... once I got my tank nearly wasted so I decided I'd throw smoke at him, bailed out and run to his tank... so I had my entire crew actually standing on his, he couldn't shoot at me anymore but I had no satchel charges or anything that could arm him either... so in the end we just leave it at that but we decided we definitely need some rules for blowing up hatches, shooting into radiators and such!

That is an old version, we are now in the final testing phase of the latest version which is release candidate 1.1 - few changes, lots of small tweaks and many more vehicle cards, but the basics remains the same... |

Hi,
I’ve tried the experimental rules for tanks, very enjoying and interesting. I have a doubt; using the heavy MG for suppression, must spend 1 AT to set the target and 1 to start, and it gets effective immediately on the opponent’s turn, or it will be effective in the next round only?
And I’d like to know if there will be a stats card for a German sidecar motorcycle.

final version of the rules should be, at long last, out for sale next week!
Anyway, yes, firing any heavy weapon is a two step process and both steps cannot be performed in the same turn. Thus it does not gets effective immediately on the opponent’s turn, it will be effective at the beginning of the next round of the player that lay the SF. Note that this means he will roll for ricochets that turn, if there are still enemies in range...
For MGs to lay SF it is 2ATs to set the target, then SF is maintained as long as it is not moved, without need to pay again.
