If there are not all 1/48 scale, what scale are they then? And how do you use them without cards for them? And if you make/have cards for them, how do you make sure which card fits which miniature?

If there are not all 1/48 scale, what scale are they then? And how do you use them without cards for them? Most of these are from the previous version of the game we published which was called 1-48COMBAT and was centered around Stalingrad, they came with their own stat cards. They are not my sculpts, they were made by Stefano Cavane', who also came up with the original concept for doing this game and with whom I had a partnership to develop it. I liked his sculpts, I think they are full of character, but unfortunately they were very inconsistent in term of size and proportions... I went along with it in most cases, but some was really too much and I did not accept it for production. This was one of several issue that undermined our collaboration and eventually caused us to split (although the main differences where in regard to the rules development). We agreed that each of us had and would retain the right to continue as he liked best, and Stefano went on doing his own game, called 48-Storm, which he published within a year or so, using all the sculpts he originally made for 1-48Combat that were not published by Baueda Wargames. These would be the ones you can see in the last row. I'm sure these figures also came with their own stat cards as I insisted to keep the stats for both our future releases compatible with the original game so that players would be able to use them all, however unfortunately this did not make it into our final agreement so I can not guarantee this is the case with those cards... but some cards were included for sure. I made a point to ensure that ours remained compatible with the original ones, however I had no figures at all at that point, as I left Stefano the ownership of all his sculpts, and thus could no longer produce even the old 1-48COMBAT ones. I started sculpting my own range, this was all traditional putty sculpting done by hand at the time, and about two years later got as far as having all the equipment and half a dozen figures done, when the new 3D printing technology become available. I have been working as a 3D artist for over 10 years for PC games even before I got into miniatures sculpting, so I saw the potential this had for this project... I dropped all masters I had done up to that point and started re-sculpting everything from scratch once again, as 3d models this time. This took another couple of years as there were a lot of other small projects going on at the same time to help put some bread on the table (development is not cheap and does not generate income), but eventually got enough of it done to make a Kickstarter campaign to fund producing the new game, and the rest, as they said, is history... Before anyone asks, I have no idea what happened to Stefano and his own game, we did not part on particularly good terms and I have not spoken to him since. It is possible that it is still in production, maybe it is the greatest game ever and it may even be compatible, but to be brutally frank, I don't really care...

And if you make/have cards for them, how do you make sure which card fits which miniature? You can play 1-48TACTIC with any figure of any scale, provided they are based on 25mm round bases. In my experience the best way to match a specific figure to a card is to write his name (or number) on the side of the base like Phil did here:
