I guys, are you probably know, we are now working on rules for playing with larger forces (up to company level), which are now entering beta testing; these include new Character types like Officers, Medics and Radio Operators and related new abilities. You can download the beta version of these rules at the bottom of the rules page: 1-48TACTIC COMPANY COMMANDER V.0.1 beta
After you have tried a couple of games, feel free to comment, any and all feedback is always most welcome!
Cheers,
Claudio

Hi, very nice rules, some of those, like rules for bunkers, runners and medics, can be used even for smaller forces. I have a question... any character can be elected to act as a medic (and value points is the max number of kit aids), right? and a Medic can be shot, just like any other character, while attending on the field?

Hi, sorry I must have missed this! Only characters with the FIRST AID Ability can test for it. Yes, a Medic can be shot like the others, not very sporting but war is hell! Yes, can be used even for smaller forces, but you will find is not worth it, unless you have at least a couple of squads the game would likely be over before a medic can make any difference...

Okay, Just one more question... as in the rules fortified positions can not be destroyed of course, but shooting with a heavy weapon, like a bazooka, against a common wall wouldn't colapse the wall and wound or expose a character taking cover behind it? Thank you!

Thank you! In reality it would depend which wall, which weapon, etc. but in the rules this is abstracted and predetermined in order to keep things as simple as possible: if a wall can be easily destroyed, like a small house brick wall or a partition wall then it is classed as a "Partial Cover", if it is something that can not be penetrated by anything less than a major artillery or aerial attack, like for example a reinforced concrete bunker or a perimeter wall of a more substantial city building (maybe further reinforced by masses of rubble from collapsed upper floors in front and/or behind it) then it is considered a "Total Cover" and it is automatically deemed to be impenetrable by anything deployed on table.
